My Xacti baby (300 gramms) + Century Fish Eye now always at hand in my pocket or small bag. Only still quite difficult to get the best macro setting, no jumbo HD screen at hand. So I focussed on something with high contrast at close range and locked that as auto setting, but doesn't work always as good. Now this time I just got some impressions of the pleasant times with my friends in an old cafe in Edam (Cheese City). As non smokers we are all so happy smoking in bars is not allowed any longer in Holland! More info on this band: Mariandoro.com

No Jancam this time. I carry my precious around like a baby....in my right hand and the left hand holds the far end of the LCD screen to get it streight, but soon I'll show you another solution.

Both this video and your previous video, Zandvoort Jazz, show off your expert skills as a videographer. I am duly impressed. I am duly impressed by your Steadi-Hand cam technique! Both videos were very well made. I bet even our central scrutinizer here, Brett Moulton, would say so. Brett Moulton subsequently gave you a like for your Jancam in action with Sanyo Xacti HD1000 you know.

Hoi Jeroen, This is done without any Steadycam just a steady Jans Hand + Fisheye! That reduces shaking enormous also improves sound quality! Practice walking around with completely water filled glasses at the back of year hand daily for one week, the second week try walking round and make circles with your hand + filled smaller glass! Don't spoil a drop. Don't fill the glass with beer! :-)

I didn't know them or warned. Just an alien attack. Normally a band just play on. (I was lucky!) And I told them to watch the clip here and she liked it much! :-)

Your glass filled with water teaching trick is great! I would like to see you do that in a classroom with a dozen students! Wait...that would make a great video!

Good day Jan,

May I know where did you get your Century Fisheye Lens? 'Coz I just bought Sanyo Xacti HD1010 and would love to get wide angle lens like you. It looks great though.

Another thing Jan, how do you operate your Xacti? Do you always leave it in fully auto or you set it manually? And do you always turn on the stabalizer? Sorry for giving you too many questions but I'm really excited :P
