This camera is $155 and shoots an hour of footage. But the BEST feature is you can plug it directly into your computer, so you don't need any wires or cables!!!

Haha. Congratulations on the new camera. I was going to say that it looked a little blurry and muffled - but now I know why!

Oh wow, that's a great consumer camera idea! Most hard drive cameras aren't intuitive and small enough.

What format does it save the movie files? Do you really have to take it to a "Pure Digital-certified retailer" to burn the files to DVD, or can burn them straight from your computer?

    This is neat!!!

    *great* camera!
I bought a similar one on ebay it arrived just yesterday :)
but it's a single use one, it has to be hacked

    interesting product!
  • ibcbulk 3 years ago
    yeah :)
the single-use one is also very cheap,
about 29$ in the US. and it's also quite easy to hack

I sometimes shoot with one of these.

It is a blast. I love these low format cameras because folks just think you are horsing around and they stay real natural. Although I prefer it when they don't spit. I guess that is just me. Great clip.

that was funny, the ending was classic! i got the same camera, the 30-min version, for $99 a few months ago. simple to use and great quality for web vids. probably use it more than my 3CCD Panny.

ok ok, Im just now asking this question but:

its not a single-use right? I mean you just record an hours worth of footage and dump it all through the usb arm into your computer and repeat?
  • Jake Lodwick plus 3 years ago
correct, though they make the same camera for CVS and it's "disposable".
  • brandon schaaf 3 years ago
really? that CVS disposable camera is the exact same thing?

I've been thinking about getting one of those... I don't know though. On one hand... cheap is good. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure I can afford even cheap. On someone else's hand, I'd really like a nice little camera for my move to T.O.

    Is it worth it?
