One of California's most beautiful Sierra springtime runs, the North Staislaus is a stompy Class IV river. Crystal clear water flows through large granite boulders and beautiful redwoods in the heart of Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The North Stan is a couple hours from San Jose and the San Francisco Bay Area.
