Excellent stuff... similar to what I've been trying to do for my own histories, OPML reading lists and XSPF playlists, but if you can accomplish it at the browser level for histories all the better!

Nice work - I agree that Piclens (now CoolIris) would be ideal if it is mashupable. It might be worth contacting them directly as they already seem to have built a 3D engine that would work prefectly for this kind of Browser integration. I've also seen some nice FF extensions which use the Delicious API to present your APIs in more visual interfaces. Some of the Digg visualisation views seem to pointing in this direction too.

Now we just need your help with re-imagining the Email Client. (c8

Woaw excellent work from Mozilla Labs !
It'll be great to have a browser like this.

Maybe a mix of Firefox/Fennec, Ubiquity and others awesome extensions.

Fantastic concept! The only criticism that springs to mind is how you manage tags, since the bookmark folder concept relies on discrete folders. Perhaps the Context Awareness feature could do this automatically; let's say that Wordpress.com could be filed automatically under "Website", "Blog" and "CMS" tags. I don't know whether tags could be learned from user behaviour (that would be very cool) or user-defined.

If you switch to a tag paradigm instead of folders you could visualise the relationships between tags in three dimensions. This could also have some interesting implications for your Context Awareness ideas, not to mention history and tags.
