What does it take to be a well-ordered church? At a basic level it means being a church that is built on the principles of government that Christ has revealed in his Word. These principles should address at least four areas: First, a church's identity, second a church's functional authority, third, a churches idea of ecumenicity (or its relationship to other churches) and fourth, a churches mandate.
