Yes, it was modeled and built in 3D Max and rendered with V-Ray.
Before getting started, I would suggest you to get familiar with this field of lighting/shading/rendering. you should do some research about it and see the render engines available in the market and what each one gives you.
Thank you.
what program was used to make this scene? and how long did it take to model it?
Could you give a rough estimate on the time you have put in to this?
good work
Mesmerizing work!
It's not just the modelling, texturing and lighting that make this really photorealistic but you have some lovely subtle color grading in there giving nice film like response curves, nice optical lens effects, subtle softening, flare, CA I think and some other characteristics that really sell this. In fact that part was so great it was just a few details in the models and textures that mean I could tell it was CG but I had to look hard!
Fantastic work.
Fancy collaborating on a photo real drainpipe shot I need to complete a short? ;-)
Awesome work !
This is TOO amazing!
The hard work was worth it with all these great feedbacks.
Love the post aswell. Which software and plugins did you used to acomplish this final look?
Thanks for the good work.
Phantastic lighting and incredible texturing and shading! WOW!
Cheers Silverwing
and nice music
I just tought it was a camera test.
and when I noticed that there was just that little something that tells you it's CG, i was amazed
excellent work dude, congratulations!
