When I was at school, I took piano lessons for many years, and eventually reached grade 4. Although I stopped playing the piano when I left school, I've recently started playing again, inspired to learn to play my two favourite piano pieces. This is one of them, and Gymnopédie No. 1 by Erik Satie is the other.

I find it very difficult to play this piece all the way through without making any mistakes, so in this video I've edited together several different takes. I find the third section in Db major especially difficult to play, so please forgive any mistakes I make there! :)
