A perfect sensation! Frederic „Fredy“ von Osten, 17 years of age, beats the complete wakeboarding world elite, including two times World Champion Nick Davies (UK) and Tom Fooshee (USA) – who was unbeaten in Hamburg for the last three years. Being a local completely paid off for Fredy. This amazing talent had the following tricks in his winning run: Mobe and Crow Mobe 5, Frontside 700 over the Kicker, Frontside 450 Transfer on the skatebox, 5 Roll to Blind, Olli on the rail, 315 and a Switch Tailglide over the kicker! The wakeskaters had their share of excitement as well, as the final was an all German one. Acting IWWF Junior World Champion Tarik Ghoniem clearly was the strongest contestant, leaving Moritz Thiele (Berlin), Lukas Süß (Duisburg) and Jan Grabski (Giessen) to take ranks two to four.
