Jack Stamps,
for which the modern dancer
Julie Nathanielsz joins the group.
Sounds of the Middle Eastern durbakeh (goblet drum) and riq (tambourine) blend with the West African djembe, numerous frame drums from around the globe and violin, cello, and viola to create a remarkable fusion of melody and rhythm.
Cellist Wendy Warner of Chicago, pianist Irina Nuzova from the Ukraine (WarnerNuzova), Lebanese percussionist Yousif Sheronick and violist Kathryn Lockwood from Australia (duoJalal) and violinist Mark Cheikhet of Russia create a series of musical conversations that speak of how people of all religions and backgrounds can live together in peace and harmony.
