At the 2008 Nevada Donald W. Reynolds Governor's Cup Business Plan Competition awards dinner, I was asked to speak (with about 30 seconds prep time) and give some advice to the student competitors.

Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (I'm the Chairman for the organization) has partnered with Nevada's colleges and universities and the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation to hold this contest for 4 years. It's an amazing experience and I've been fortunate to lead the judging panels.

Now it has evolved to compete in a tri-state competition against Oklahoma and Arkansas. In 2008 we held our first-ever competition in Las Vegas that pitted Nevada, Oklahoma and Arkansas students against each other.
