Leaders and people of faith from the Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and Interfaith communities came together to share prayers, sacred texts, and stories of tolerance on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010. The Interfaith service was held at Christ Church Cathedral on Locust.
The service ended when coordinator Becky Ragland, Episcopal priest and diocesan ecumenical officer, asked participants to imagine the map of St. Louis on the floor, and to get up and go stand where they lived on this imaginary map. The day closed with singing We Shall Overcome.
