
Trenton Scottish Irish Festival 2010 - Military Tattoo

Hundreds of Scottish music and Celtic entertainment lovers headed to Centennial Park from Friday Sept. 10 to Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Trenton Scottish Irish Festival (TSIF). All were invited by the City of Quinte West to enjoy military and Celtic music on the waterfront by professional pipers, and attend the ceremony of performances in the tradition of the military tattoo, which kicked off the festivities Friday night.
8 Wing-CFB Trenton's Commanding Officer Col. Dave Cochrane and Warrant Officer Kevin West, mayor John Williams, and city councilors attended the first in 39 years Military Tattoo, featuring the bands 14 Wing Greenwood, CFB Ottawa Pipes and Drums, 400 Squadron Pipes and Drums, Borden, 8 Wing Trenton Concert Band, the 413 Wing AFAC Trenton, Scottish band Claidhmor, as well as Celtic dancers.
