This video is shown in real time. You're looking at the moon's 'apparent motion' during roughly 10 seconds at high magnification.
In actuality, the earth's rotation around its own axis (at ~1000mph) is creating this optical illusion. So during this 10 second clip, the earth rotated roughly 3 miles!
Reminds me of the lyrics of a great Flaming Lips song: "Do you realize the sun doesn't go down,
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round"....
This video was shot with Rebel T2i and canon 55-250mm at 250mm, with the "crop movie" setting, which effectively magnifies the image by 7X (although it also downgrades video quality to standard def 640x480) Soooo.... 250mm X a crop factor of 1.6 (b/c this is a crop sensor camera) X 7 = 2800mm! There's also some digital cropping here as well.
