Greenwater River
I filmed this nature bit while on a backpacking trip along the Greenwater River, in the Norse Peak Wilderness, near Mt. Rainier Washington.
This was the first test of using a lightweight little Canon HF100 camera to shoot while backpacking.
Film speed: PF24 (converted to true 24p)
Editor: Sony Vegas Pro 8
Color grading: Magic Bullet Looks
Music: Hans Zimmer, "Light", from The Thin Red Line soundtrack

THANX AGAIN
I'm a noob and just ordered an HF100 and Vegas 8 Pro. Haven't received the camera yet but have been diddling with Vegas on some sample AVCHD clips I've found about the web.
I've done a ton of (re)searching and still am not able to find some good comments on rendering. Can you tell me this:
1. If you capture the original video on the HF100 as 1080/60i or 30p or even 24p, what do you render it as after editing if:
a. you intend to play it back directly from the camera via HDMI to a 52" HD LCD.
b. you intend to burn it to DVD to share with family
c. you intend to render it so that you can burn it to BluRay in the future as the prices of burners drop?
Thanks! -Mark
