    It feels like the background windows are moving the wrong way. If I move my head to the left, it would be to see the left part of background windows.

    That's pretty cool. I think the Parallax effect should have a threshold before engaging. Instead of reacting to every move of the user, I think it should only slide over if he/she moves over a certain (adjustable) margin. Just my opinion.

    Hi i'm familiar with facedetection using processing but how come u get to communicate with the OS? if u can get me any info around this it'll be kool. thanks

    All the content that you see is part of the Processing applet, probably I should have made it clearer. There is actually no interaction at OS level.

    Does this mean my laptop will stop dimming the screen while I'm still right in front of it?

    I want to make use of Ubuntu's power-saving features, but hate the annoyance of having to swipe the trackpad to get things back to normal brightness.
