I had no idea that you took so many strokes to complete each line. It's fascinating to watch other people work and create. Awesome work, Dave!

    And Scales!

Great stuff Dave! Good idea to have a second voice there - definitely makes it more lively - less Bob Ross-ish... Have you considered using a drawing tablet?

    This is an amazing video.
I have been grappling with whether or not I use my Wacom Tablet enough or not enough.
I think it's time I set up my old drawing table.
    Keep up the videos.

Not being an artist myself - it's astounding to me how you ilk can create visual representations of objects in your mind....on paper. I stared at the screen like a slack-jawed yokel the whole time :)

    Bravo

When I saw this video a few months ago, I didn't understand much of it, but now I have been sketching portraits for a few months to improve my drawing skills, I understand so much more. Love that electric eraser from Koh-I-Noor.

This was the same technique I did a few years ago when I did my first comic. I inked with a regular Pilot ink pen, and I had that CHEAP eraser from the 99 cents store..lucky for you, you have "power tools" lol..great vid!
