Since 1984, Dash Rip Rock has been America's premiere cajun punk rockabilly band. Their high energy live performances have earned them tours with Rev. Horton Heat, the Cramps and the Ramones.

The three-piece punkabilly trio have released 15 albums, their biggest single hit being the mid-90's release "Let's Go Smoke Some Pot", and they continue to record for Alternative Tentacles and tour the US and Europe year-round.

Johnny Ace, first released on DRR's 2005 gold record Re-cyclone, is a blistering example of punkabilly at its best.
