The team at John Jones install Framed, a project with framers John Jones and artist Stuart Haygarth, at the V&A as part of the London Design Festival 2010. Over 600 metres of frame profiles have been cut, mitred, joined, sanded and coloured in a range of special finishes including gold leaf.

The talented team at John Jones built the piece, painstakingly piecing together hundreds of framing mouldings to build the artwork which will adorn the one of the staircases at the entrance of the V&A. The first of its kind, the piece is required a great amount of hard work and skill from the John Jones specialist team, transforming Stuart’s vision into a reality.

The piece will be unveiled on 18th September as part of London Design Festival 2010.
