    nice portrait ;)
  • Yeah, this guy I met at the beach took it. I have no idea who he was, he just kept mumbling something about bokeh.
  • Darryl Gregory 1 year ago
Lol, Was he also wearing a shirt that had the word bokeh?
    :0

Great interview of Philip, with key questions/answers. And your tag is just...hilarious! 'Spent 12 years in Hollywood.

    Nice interview.
something decent from Nikon would be a full frame D700 replacement with 1080p 24 and a high data rate. Let's hope they do it!

    This was great!
Beautifully shot and great candid interview
    of Mr. Bloom

But why is Jesus running from the water?
I was under the impression he could walk on it :)

actually I remember him in Ben Hur too wasn't he??
  • Darryl Gregory 1 year ago
    Ben Hur? lol
I think you're confusing Charlton Heston
for Jesus :), But Charlton Heston was Moses in The Ten Commandments.

Either way I sure do miss Charlton Heston

Philip's right! Jesus did show up from time to time in Ben Hur! Especially at the end when Heston's sister is cured of leprosy...chills! :)
  • Philip Bloom pro 1 year ago

Even Jesus is interesting in filmmaking. Gotta love this craft.

This guy walked past my girlfriend and I on Sunset. It was quite a sight to see Jesus by a latte then join some revellers in the bar beside, tempted as he was by the tequila shooters they offered him. Like the man said - only in LA!

What is a "Forefinger Follow Focus"???
  • Dailey Pike pro 1 year ago
That was comedy, i.e., I used my forefinger to follow focus instead of some expensive gadget.
  • Phillip Todd 1 year ago
And I thought you might have taken a hose clamp from the engine of your car, stuck a screw in it and clamped it on your lens and called it a follow focus. There's a lot of comedians out there. Just remember to put back on your radiator hose before driving home. :-o

Nice video with cameo by JC!!! lol
