This is a short I made from using some shots I made using my DIY Fader ND, created by following this tutorial - instructables.com/id/Simple-Variable-Neutral-Density-Filter/, courtesy of cheesycam.com.

This Fader produces the same results as the popular Fader ND's sold by Light Craft Workshop and alike, but at a much cheaper price :)

I highly recommend this tutorial to DSLR filmmakers as it is a great way to save money as well as a cool experiment.

Camera: 550D & 28mm 1.8

If you have any questions about this film, feel free to ask.

Hope to see you making your own Fader ND's and producing some beautiful cinematic footage of your own.
