Abstract: For every successful start-up, there are a bunch of others who did not make it. This is an experience report from one of those companies which did not make it. We set out to become the number one social music experience on the planet. Usually you only hear the amazing stories about how magic happened and a success was created. You seldom get a chance to hear how you can accomplish failure and maybe you learn enough that you end up holding a similar talk.
