September has rolled-around once again and that got me to thinking about some fishing video I shot in September of 2009, but never edited. This is one of those videos. Just edited it last night/this morning.
This video features the determined Humpies (Pink Salmon) as they make their way upriver on the Stillaguamish River on September 20, 2009. Determined anglers are also shown.
This area is near the railroad. And the sounds of a train often echo throughout this beautiful slice of Washington state.
This video was entirely shot on a simple, consumer-grade miniDV camera (Panasonic PV-GS150). If there was ever a shoot that I've done that begged for an HD camera and a powerful lens, this is it. Still, I've not let that stand in the way of having some fun with this video. More than anything, it reminds me of what fun I had shooting that day. I hope you get some enjoyment out of it, too!
One last note, a week prior to shooting this video, I shot the Humpy Run on the Snohomish River. I've just finished editing that video, too, and am also posting it now.
