Anza Borrego Night lapse
Went out to try to get some Perseids shots and test ISO 3200 and my panning head at night.
The 1st clip was with my panning Milapse head and my XTI at 25 sec, 3 sec interval, ISO 1600, F3.5 @ 18mm.
The 2nd clip was with my 40D at 25 sec, 3 sec, ISO 3200, F2.8, @ 17mm.
The 40D shots were ran through Noiseware to reduce high ISO noise.
Both were shot at the same time using one Intervalometer. It was 85 degrees at 3am !

Great footage, and the portrait stills add a nice touch - nice one bud :)
give me some advance notice when you do this..BigD and I will meet you out on location...way cool.
It was good except the one skip from not noticing one of my batts died.
I did the pan at 2x on the Milapse head just by hitting the speed button after turning it on. I'm not sure what the AZ ratio defaults to.
Thank you for sharing this jewel ...
I got mine here
shop.telescope-warehouse.com/product.sc?categoryId=1&productId=119
They had sold out but now they are back but with a price increase.
I do admit I kinda expected some lightsabers or ufo's flying around.
There is too much lightpollution over here to see the milky way like that .
Well done ! ! !
