Barbara and her mother were among the first individuals to be welcomed into Watoto. In 1996, she travelled with the Watoto Children's Choir, greatly impacting her world view. With hard work and determination, Barbara won a scholarship to university and will graduate later this year. She is a strong leader and is currently heading some of Watoto's agricultural projects.
