NESTA's Philip Colligan says that doing public service innovation now will prevent increased demand on the state in the future.
This was the first of our Liberal Democrats Party Conference events, and it was on the theme of positive disruption - the challenge of finding new and better ways of delivering public services. On the panel were Norman Lamb MP, one of the Prime Minister's political advisors; Rob Whiteman, MD of IDeA; and NESTA's own Philip Colligan who's in charge of our public services innovation lab.
