Todd, it looks like the domain that you list at the end of your video, ornithopter.ca, is just a domain squatters domain. You may want to update your video or figure out why that domain is pointing to a squater.

I was a bit disappointed to see it needed assistance to take off. It was also not clear from the video how the plane is controlled, if it all. I guess autonomous take off and direction/pitch control are the next big challenges ...

How come no one noticed that the plane only took off because a car pulled it with a rope and then all it did was glide a short distance before touching down again. This plane DID NOT look like it flew because of the wings slightly flapping. It just glided like any other glider. This video does not show a plane flying from human power in any way. It just shows a glider with wings that move a little. Its rediculas.

How is this different from a glider - a car was needed to make it launch and it didn't fly anywhere near as high.

There's no guarantee there that the flapping is even helping.

I also think that the "record" won't be ratified.

The main issue is I got all hyped up based on the intro and then bam look at this goofy glider, also impossible is nothing!!!! hahaha
