Artist's Statement:

"Fucking Bitch, Fucking Slut" questions the relationship between the performer and the audience in mass culture.

The performer is represented as a typically arrogant, attention-hungry lead singer – the "bitch". He's performing in order to be liked by the audience, so that he can get material and sexual gratification from them, but it's never enough.
The audience is represented as a promiscuous "slut", a court jester, who is a willing slave to the performer's Warholian doubles sick desire to be liked and gratified. He/she actually even enjoys this perverse relationship, reminiscent of dark room sex, sucking and fucking to electro beatbox track.

The exaggerated presence that both characters project and their juxtaposition create a sort of inter-dependent relationship, which is only intensifying with time. One's desire to be gratified is fed by the other's constant (over)stimulation, both are trapped in repetitive acts of consented abuse, dominance and submission, which are encouraged by mass culture and society at large. Following Judith Butler's claims that "gender is an act which has been rehearsed", the same structure is extrapolated to the roles of performer and audience in mass culture.

However, both characters are not oppressed by the structure they're caught in – they actually enjoy and ironize it. Their perverse symbiosis depicts a certain harmony achieved through accepting polarities in oneself. Therefore, the way "real" audiences react to this work, becomes its subject as well.
