In June 2008, concerned members from the forest watch group Bark, hiked the 40 miles of the proposed Palomar pipeline across Mt. Hood National Forest.
Using an orange curtain to show the width of the permanent clearcut corridor, the group was able to document what would be lost. On the third day, the group crossed the Clackamas River.
