2 thumbs up. What was this filmed on/with?
  • Shot on 16mm
Arri SRIII and a Bolex H16

    KV2 200T 7217
    KV3 500T 7219
    KV3 250D 7207
  • I'd love to hear more about the process.
Did you transfer it for offline editing and then cut the negatives to make the final positive which you transfered into this footage, or did you make directly a high quality transfer and went from then on all digital?

Great stuff, love to see 16mm being used like this.
Reminds me a lot of Tamara Lichtenstein's photography flickr.com/photos/tamgutlich/

Bold! I do not understand what is message, but I really enjoy this. Love editing. Some images and slow motion part in just fantastic.

When this was shot? And why this is old 4:3 ratio? Why not in 16:9? Which camera was used?

If you can brief about this video would be really good.
  • Shot on 16mm
Camera: Arri SRIII and a Bolex H16
    Lenses: 35mm Zeiss Standard T2.1 and 16mm zoom Zeiss 11-110mm T2.2.
A standard zoom for Bolex H16
    Film stock:
    KV2 200T 7217
    KV3 500T 7219
    KV3 250D 7207
Aspect Ratio 4:3. It was an esthetic choice to get closer to a 70's image. Basically Carl Sagan homage

4:3 an excellent choice. Absolutely fantastic and so wonderfully creative!! Great editing. Great music! Seems like it is also a bit of an homage to Jodorowsky.

    Love ya!

You can do more "Carl Sagan homages", you know ? He does deserve it :-p

I love how there's a lot of naked skin in this but it's NEVER vulgar or inappropriate... Also, some parts brilliantly used the editing to build up the excitement/anticipation. Great piece of video, with a killer song as well !! Congrats ;-)

Best music video I've seen in years, 16mm too, it actually looks like South American/European cinema of the 70's.

I love you, you mad fools.
