Did you know Spanish language television in U.S. began in 1955 in San Antonio, Texas? This is the story of the Nicolas family, pioneers of what today is the largest Spanish language network in the nation, Univision.

The story is part of "Perfiles," a pilot series of human interest and public service pieces about Latinos in the United States, of all walks of life, their challenges and triumphs inspired by the Ford Salute to Education awards.
