to add a song to the video you need to add the audio file to the video file in the video editor you use... you usually can see the separate tracks in the editor, the video is above the audio...

I've tried to drag the audio over...doesn't work

I've tried importing from itunes and it says something to the effect that Windows Movie Maker does not support the file i am trying to import. weird!

it's strange... but perhpas it's exactly it, the format of the file is not supported... some programs are like that... windows movie maker accepts mp3 files, at least it was the one i used with it. sorry i couldn't help!

iTunes sucks in that you cannot import them into WMM. but anything not bought thru iTunes can be imported... wma, mp3, etc. it will show up in Collections
