Mateu Villaret learned how to love cooking by the hand of his grandmother, at the age of 8, looking every detail with special attention, falling in love with local tastes and family traditions. 6 years later Mateu met a real commercial kitchen for the first time, learning how to move and work in an environment of “chefs”. After several new sources of different types of kitchens he discover what it was his passion, Mediterranean specialties.
On his way, he had opportunities of learning Cocina Creativa “Creative kitchen”.
He moved to Amsterdam to find this type of cooking and new goals getting to one of the best local restaurant: “Gala”.
Now he wants to present you what he knows: 13 years of experience, tons of fresh Mediterranean taste, deeply garlic aroma and the best service in the market.
