    That's really cool, I'm curious did you use my code to generate higher resolution height maps (with gaps inbetween points), because AE can't use the source point cloud data directly?

    i tried to play with your code to get a higher quality height map but like you said its not really possible so i ended up using the .png files it made at 120x120. as far as i know there wasnt a way for me to import the point cloud data. i might try rendering my own depth maps with 3d programs.

    I added a function to fill in those gaps (which results in that picture from that other post), so in the processing hoc project you can set the resolution as high as you want- it's in the google code svn now.
