PAVING THE WAY is the story of the 1920 inaugural tour of the Park-to-Park Highway, a motor route connecting all 12 of the U.S. National Parks.

This adventure displays the convergence of automobile technology, the preservation of U.S. lands, and the need to take a road trip after the hard times of WWI and the flu pandemic of 1918.
