felicia marie + sean: save the date
This is the Save the Date video we made for our friends, Felicia Marie and Sean, who you may remember from their proposal video a few months ago.
Felicia and Sean started dating as freshmen at the Univeristy of Florida, and though they are both Miami natives, Gainesville is where they made their first home together.
So, when they approached us for their Save the Date film, Ursula proposed that we all take a 6 hour road trip to where it began. Painting the 34th Street wall (where Sean had previously painted a love message), attending UF football games and tubing at Ginnie Springs are all memories of the early stages of their relationship.
As a first time visitor to the 'Ville, it's easy to see why Gator fans and alums gush about this town.
The scenic views, school spirit and the Southern hospitality of the people made for a really great trip!
My wife even insisted on titling it "Sweet Summer Love in the South", but thankfully I saved us all from that.
We truly had a blast on this one (if I could do all my shoots while floating down a lazy river with a beer in one hand and a camera in the other, I would)! I also can't wait to return and hit up Bistro 1245 again, a local restaurant where having bisque on the hottest day in July is somehow a good idea!
Many thanks to Felicia and Sean for giving us the opportunity to flex our creative muscles and allowing us document this important time in their lives.
Up next: The wedding on 3.20.11!

Zelo Photography 1 year agoThis is really cool, thanks for posting it. Was there any actual film used or is it just video with fx? Either way, great job. -
