Shot in Zambia. After we wrapped filming a commercial with kreamlondon.com , Ken and the villagers decided to play some music and dance. Ken sang with his homemade guitar, the sun was setting and it seemed too good not to shoot.

Esta gente es humilde, pero parece ser que eso no lo hace menos divertido, se ven muy alegres, como si no se preocuparan por nada en el mundo. El video te saca una sonrrisa... en un modesto video.

    Delightful,simple and good.

I especially like the shot of the old woman in the green top place her hand on the shoulder of the small girl in the front in order to attract her attention to show her a new dance move, sweet.

David, I would like to send this guy a guitar and some strings. How can I go about that? Would what ever company you were shooting for be able to tell me? I am not trying to be critical of his guitar, that's awesome that he made that(wish I could) but I would like to hook this guy up.

    Thanks,

    Jack Gilbert

The film was shot in a village called hambale near monze in the western province of Zambia. We were shooting an ad as part of a campaign to 'dig toilets, not graves' to stop children dying of diarrhoea. It kills 4,000 children every day in the world's poorest countries. Kenneth Otamendi lives in the village and was helping us to dig a pit toilet, which is the easiest way to keep faeces out of the food and water supply. We were working with a charity called wateraid. Save shot the fabulous ad in the link at the top. We also made a great viral about it which you can see at digtoilets.org/poo

It's a great song, beautiful people, great light. But the closed angles, always focusing on the guitar player, are a little annoying; it would've been nice to see the lady and the kids dancing. Nice job, though.
