Team Ortho launched into new territory Saturday, September 18th when we held our inaugural Go Commando 5K Adventure! Participants did a 5K run, all while doing 10 super-fun, muddy, wet and challenging adventures!

We had more than 700 participants be part of this event that spanned Green Acres Rec in Lake Elmo. Participants started their adventure at Mahtomedi High School when they got on a bus to come to area that usually is a winter recreational area. But Team Ortho transformed it into a crazy and fun obstacle course. Once they arrived they chose which heat they would race in during their wave and then they were off; climbing hay bales, logs and sliding down through fast tubes of water that took runners into a pit of mud!

After the mud bath the runners took on the Sahara, Black Hole, Minefield, Fire int he Hole and then SWAMP COMMANDO! Where many people lost their shoes!

But it was so worthwhile when you could hose off and sit down with a beer and a hot dog and bask in the glory of your dog-tag medal that you earned by GOING COMMANDO! Congratulations!
