So Awesome! This is why I LOVE Vimeo. People can now make the music videos that they really always wanted to, and they can still be seen by the world, without the influence and manipulation of some d-bag network executive. Good stuff.

Mesmerizing in a freaky way, I loved what you did with the Etch A Sketch I was happy if I could make a house. The colour and sound blended into a mad mix that was a delight to watch, reminded me of the seaside in a way, amusements I guess.

double intense triple rainbow. i like the seamless transition between animated effects and live action. Feeling the big beats too - Cutter could reach No.1 but its not just for Christmas. so crisp and clean cut, hope the toys survived!

Thanks again for all the lovely comments, I really am bowled over by the response to this!

Here are some collected tidbits of production info for anyone that is interested:

The budget for the whole video was under £400.
It was filmed in my friends garage on a 4m x 2m set. The knives are real kitchen knives, I am using them at my house currently! I now have 30 pairs of white gloves and don't really know what to do with them....

By the way -- I'm surprised nobody asked this yet -- how did you simulate the etch-a-sketch screen so perfectly? I loved seeing this old classic repurposed in such a way. It was thrilling, and vaguely disturbing.
