Pat Conneely hitch-hiked every Sunday for 30 years from Oughterard to Galway, to play a traditional Irish music session at The Crane Bar.
He had a great number of stories concerning the people he met on the way to his gig, and many of them actually changed their course and followed him into the bar to watch him perform.
Pat started to lose his voice shortly before this documentary was filmed, in the Spring of 2010, so he was unable to sing during his gigs.
A few months after this documentary he was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Pat died on the 23rd of September 2010. This film is dedicated to his memory, and all of his great stories.
