Based on the same 1920x1 pixel source material as Julienned Film#1, this variation uses 1/4 the number of movies (approximately 270) and scales the single pixel height vertically by 4 pixels, the result is a slightly more 'course' version. Thus about 14 hours of recorded footage is seen here condensed into 3 minutes.

I like the concept a lot. I would be interested to see how the result would differ based on the nature of the content.

For example: commercials vs. TV vs. film.
Movies by genre or time period.

Certainly, more scaling might be required and the sourcing would be quite a feat, but conceptually: intriguing, no?

Thanks - I agree It would be interesting to make singular variations based on a particular genre. Unfortunately I recorded most content 'agents-style' while I slept. I suppose I could parse out colorist styles manually. you can already see temporal similarities within each film as it is, EG, b&w 'barcode like' lines are generally credits. You see similar blocks of color style for long movies, such as the center greenish block here.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
