I agree with you Sam. I'm christian as well and lately struggling with the fact how a lot of christianity has dealt with homosexuality. It seems it's a lot about being right about homosexuality being a sin while forgetting Jesus words about no judgements and love for your neighbour, and not only your neighbour but even your enemy. I'm not hearing any love in the words of the people that speak in name of God in this vid.

Its a beautiful vid Matthew, and I say that as a believer and follower of Jesus. Just know that christians can and often are very wrong. They are sinners just as everybody else, they need God probably more than the average person. Were not better, far from it.

As with so many others, the basis for that which you are creating your opinion on is wrong. No, I don't mean the bible, I mean your understanding of homosexuality.
Being gay is not a physical act.
It is an ORIENTATION. Something you know from childhood on...meaning, what you are emotionally and physically attracted to.
I assume you knew you were straight well before you ever were sexually active. Well, just reverse the role and you begin to understand what it is like for us.
With that fact in mind (and understood and accepted) the question then become what do you want us to do with our lives.
Do you want us to enter into a healthy, committed, loving relationship with someone we are physcially and emotionallly connected with? Or should we enter into phony relationships, and marriages, with women? Remember, we ARE NOT attracted to girls, and never have been.
Think about that...I mean REALLY think about it.
So, in summary, if your core understanding of orientation is corrupt, your opinions on every gay related issue is going to be wrong due to an incorrect foundation that you have built that opinion on.
And I say this as someone who struggled his entire life, asking "why"? Why am I not attracted to girls, and why do I feel so different.
Not bashing...just helping you and others understand.
And yes...I was raised in the church and still have faith, but know that the bible is not, and never should be, taken literally.
