Mitch Scott is a resourceful, accomplished and a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 23 years of extensive law enforcement experience. Mitch is a proven leader with the ability to deliver results in high-pressure situations and has been consistently recognized for innovative crime solving techniques.

Biography
Mitch was born and raised in Oklahoma were he graduated from Norman High School in 1984. Realizing his professional passion in life was law enforcement, Mitch enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Police Officer for 6 years. During this time he received a Medal of Commendation, two Achievement Medals and two Good Conduct Medals for his actions. The responsibilities Mitch held during this time were many to include Patrol Duties, Presidential Security, Customs, Immigrations and Narcotics. In 1990 Mitch served in the Gulf War at which time he met his Wife Angie as they had become Pen Pals.

Upon receiving his Honorable discharge in 1992 Mitch relocated to Burnsville, Minnesota and married Angie. In efforts to continue his law enforcements objectives Mitch began attending school full-time in conjunction with maintaining his full-time position with the Hennepin County Sheriffs Office as a Detention Deputy. Stead fast in his objectives Mitch completed his Associates Degree and was hired as a Deputy Sheriff for Hennepin County Sheriffs Office.

Mitch continued to broaden his law enforcement experience by accepting a position as a Police Officer with the Apple Valley Police Department in 1996. Mitch has continued to educate himself in the field as well as in the classroom. He has not only gained first hand experience as a Patrol Officer and Detective, but was also promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2005. During his tenure at Apple Valley Police Department Mitch has received the Medal of Valor, the Medal of Commendation, the Chiefs Award of Merit, 4 Department Awards of Merit and 2 Life Savings Awards.

Continuing his education, Mitch received his Bachelors Degree in Management from Kaplan University graduating Magna Cum Laude, completed his Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, completed the School of Police Staff and Command from Northwestern University and finished the Federal Bureau of Investigations LEEDS course.

Mitch currently resides in Farmington, Minnesota with his wife Angie and their children, Hunter 10 and Hailey 5.
