Was the project put together in a 1920X1080 resolution or did you work in something crazy like 4k and beyond.. then downrez for the extra "oomph" in detail and "texture"..
I am impressed. Crazy skills.
love and Aloha, Kalani-
what makes you think that this is a 3d render?
obviosly it's footage shit with the Phantom flex, bit of color corect, few cuts and done!
Daaaaa!

But what exactly does Silestone do? Is it the kitchen in general or the counter top?

It's also interesting to see some of his workflow. It also shows his color correction techniques.
Impressive. Outstanding.
How long was the production?
que pedazo cabron!!!!!!!!!!! great job
im blown away.
stunning work.
This guy is a master.
would love to know how long it takes him to make such incredible CG?
It almost seems like Alex is celebrating the knowledge he´s not sharing! Im not sure if Im allowed to blame him for that but, come on, Its not like asking for shader networks or something like that! Beside that I have to admit that the 3rd & 7th did have a small workflow and breakdown to show....anyway...good stuff!
Just watching these videos I can see how most of it is done, and I'm a beginner as far as 3D. But I'm an artist, so is Alex. It's more than just the technical aspect that makes this completely breathtaking. It's the artistry.
Maybe my used word "knowlege" was chosen wrong because it obviously confused you.
However it is a balancing act between beeing an idiot for telling everything he knows, or beeing a fool and loosing sympathy in the community for not sharing a s**t!
And again, no one wants to know his values or settings. I wouldnt tell anyone such things either. Rendertimes, worktime, simulationtimes, Techspecs....these are things how people compare their abilities and skills.
Thanks for reading anyway! Cheerz!
Espero impaciente el siguiente curro xD, un saludo
Amazing work!
Asking your questions; yep, it's all CG -same process as T&S- I tried to put some live-footage shots but i run out of time so CGI did the trick :P
Whole production was 2 and a half months for the initial concept to the final editing; two people: Juan & me.
Again, thanks so much folks.
Cheers,
>A.
Just amazing
Congrats
