Joan Sallis describes her experiences during the 1947 Tewkesbury floods. She remembers going into the cinema on a bright day, but comming out to find lots of snow! Knowing that she couldn't get home she stayed with her boyfriends' sister. Joan also remembers how the floods stayed for a long time, many people kept asking if it was going to get worse.
