SXSW was great this year. Lots of fun. It's also an easy place to become desensitized to it all (especially if your one of those jaded NYC music people like me).

A couple of things I suppose. The Walkmen (last shot) are definitely one of my favorites. It's a strange phenomenon there. Every band plays like 5 shows in 4 days so every time you turn around there's "that" band again. Against Me! had a great basement punk rock show vibe. Somehow I neglected to add that clip. Shout Out Out Out Out and Pelican were also pretty rad.

Lots of dudes flailing around (moshing, if you will). Definitely makes me remember why going to shows can be fun even if only to watch.

sorry i missed the first weekend, but so glad i didn't go the second weekend. my friend even had a band for me.
