Another short video recorded in 720p at 60fps on Kodak Zi6. From a park in Sunnyvale, California.

There are quite a lot of artifacts in the compressed version, probably because of all the water moving around. The raw video out of the camera is a lot cleaner.

(Comment points out the video didn't actually export at 60fps. Not sure what happened.)

This has been exported as 30fps, but thx for the video anyways.

Hmmm, you're right. It is 30fps. I guess it didn't export correctly.

What program did u use to export? Cos most dont have a 60fps MOV export option.

iMovie has "Export using QuickTime...", and the QuickTime options let you set a key frame rate. I thought I set it to 60, but I changed other settings which may have limited the frame rate.

    Sounds like a silly mistake.

Frame rate and Key frames are two different things. Go back and look and you'll see the frame rate is a pop selection just above the key frames box.

I am sitting here with my second HD zi6 and I hate it so far. Not only is it not true HD (which I expected and understood), but once the files are transferred onto the pc, they are useless. No editing, no converting, the software it comes with doesn't even recognize the files, and the only thing I can do with them is PLAY them in QuickTime or upload raw and unedited. It really sucks. There is no support for the zi6 yet, and what little contact I did get for help was redirecting me to this being a software issue (arcsoftware, which is provided), and their support is $10 per call, so... SO far, this has been a total waste of money. I took it back and exchanged it hoping it was a defective model, but the second one now is doing the exact same thing.

I don't own a Zi6 and don't know about the software that it comes with, but I do have some advice.

Windows movie maker will be your best bet for editing the movie files if your on windows.

But, windows movie maker doesn't support .MOV (aka Quicktime) files. You will need to convert them to .WMV format.

You can buy software to do this, or I use this site if I'm in a pinch: media-convert.com/ ( I actually found this on youtube tutorial.)

    Good luck
