A 3rd party app for the iPhone & iPhone 3G. No sound as of yet but the video is pretty good for a camera phone. Video files are recorded at 384x288, a 4x3 (television) aspect ratio, at up to 16 fps, depending on lighting. No compression delay is used so a video can be viewed right after recording stops. You may need firmware 2.0 or higher to have it downloaded through Cydia. An updated version should be released within a week or so that will include audio & possibly more features.

Only 71 seconds - and that was, what, a 25 MB file?

Yeah, its large in comparison to iPhone Video Recorder, but its spot on for the sizes produced by most modern point-and-shoot cameras as it's using the same compression that is normally used: MJPEG. Cycorder produces the video quality I've come to expect at the file sizes I've learned to be willing to pay.
