Great talk! Extremely interesting topic. So the question we are left with is how can we secure our unconscious like the armed security guards in Inception? Hrmm. That is a good question.

Also great speaking. Have you undergone any training Aza for speaking? I'm currently doing a lot of Christopher Howard training for it (NLP stuff).

Another nice topic on memory insertion and erasing which was not covered is Timeline Theraphy. Where one can alter the feeling of a memory in the past or even erase it to remove phobias. Or say set memories ahead in the future to let our unconscious work towards achieving that success.

The future will no doubt be very interesting.

On a subject related to the start of your talk, I have a question. Aza as one of the leaders in innovation doesn't it exhaust you knowing that one day another small group of people could come that destroy your life's work?

This talk has got me thinking. Using something like Timeline Therapy and inception once could insert accomplishments into their mind's past that they have yet achieved.

For instance a person may want to achieve a series of sexual adventures, but as they are closed marriage that desire is not possible. Rather than damaging the marriage, they could use means to insert the memory of having such accomplishments in, such that they will not feel that lust anymore - allowing them to have a no regrets marriage.

Or even for someone who has become a paraplegic who dreamed of coming first in a 100m sprint, the memories of the accomplishment could be inserted. Now that would be a good thing to do.

Lust is not something you can pacify and bed down. The history of the world and my own experiences have proved this a thousand times. If you feed it a little you throw fuel on the fire and it rages on hotter than ever. What you're playing at is not just a dangerous game, it's a wrecking ball. What kind of real wife wants a husband who is only "faithful" because his mind is being satiated by something imaginary?

  • Very good talk.

Only a psych to want to go in and mess with a person's mind. Someone once defined psychology as the science of mind control... not mind empowerment... no, a free mind does what it pleases, not what it is told... and corporations and governments want you to do what you're told.
Ask anyone who lived through Nazi Germany or a dictator of their own.
The dictators of our time are more slick... they smile and put choices on the table... but it's their choices they put, and we're left to pick the lesser of the 2 evils they picked.
With so much government money you think psychs would spend time FREEING the spirit (psyche) instead of only seeking out means to ENSLAVE it.
I think abstinence and keeping a sharp mind are the best tools to escape the implants... and, one can always disregard advertising in favor of research... I certainly use Facebook only sparingly!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention
