I was there! It almost looks better on video. The rumpled-paper effect was the most impressive, so good. I hope to see more of this in the future.

  • So amazing! Where can I find more videos on the same technique?

    sorry!! this building is real??
  • Osfilmworks plus 1 year ago
This building is dreamy to watch it turn its lights on and off but what you saw here is not totally real. The building has beautiful lighting and Visual FX like no other building in NYC but what you see here is mostly 3D VFX and a great sound score made just for this piece..

Its great VFX work though, I love it

Great effect, but the editing was distracting. All the jump cuts were unnecessary, and they kept breaking the flow for me. Why not just one long wide shot the whole time?
  •
  • Well constructed and mapped. THe content was awesome but I wish it pushed it a bit more with style and story.
  •

Really awesome. The actually editing of the video was disorientating and took me out of the experience. There was no need to add all those cuts. Other than that the show was absolutely spectacular. I wish I was there in person.

  • Its great america is beginning to integrate visual technology into larger scale projects. I feel like strategic color choices, textures and timing would make a beautiful canvas for projection mapping projects.

What a creepy commercial job. Video colourful moving tapestry on buliding, without any sense of perception, deepness, synesthesy, physical space. Only a great technology pushed aithout any sense of art and design. Shame on you, expecially when you still have many good artists workin in the field here on Vimeo. You would take 5 minutes of patience to find them
  • francoe 1 year ago
    I completely agree with you.
The same reviewed work of the last 4 years, with a lot of bad taste.
Shame on you with this shitty work.

its pretty nice but not very interesting , much more powerful stuff has been done including something in Ukraine and another promotional show by LG or Samsung I think that really pushed the limits , this is good but not special or new in anyway ... and I didn't like the cuts from one camera to the other it really made the experience loose too much and it made it hard to appreciate the work
  • Mark Jenkinson 1 year ago
    Have you seen this? vimeo.com/16466136
  • Zick-art 11 months ago
I just did !! and this really confrims how mediocre (at best) this really is ... the toyota spot was very original anc creative with projecting on the ground and well as the walls and in how they lit up the lights only with projection
