Ok so when i encoded using blender it was sped up abit so if you have trouble following read this:
To begin open gimp on the gimp toolbox hit the xtns button find a panel with a button inside that says render map render the map then goto image mode . grayscale then save as jpg then open blender make a plane and subdivide it a few times in the edit buttons panel (f9) the goto the materials panel and goto texture button add iamge and add your rendered map then goto edit buttons (f9) in edit mode hit noise a few times and you will notice the mesh changing great for random landscapes
after seeing the video in fullscreen i give up i will be writing text tutorials from now on you can find them at mach1723-productions.blogspot.com/
